DEXA Scan Testing
A DEXA scan test helps measure bone mineral density and gives your provider useful information about bone strength. This screening is especially helpful when discussing osteoporosis risk, menopause-related bone changes, family history, or fracture prevention.
DEXA scan basics:
- DEXA testing evaluates bone mineral density, also called BMD.
- Results help estimate the likelihood of future fracture.
- Measurements commonly focus on the spine and hip.
- The scan compares bone strength with reference ranges, including younger premenopausal women and women in your age group.
Incontinence Testing
Urinary leakage is common, but it should not be dismissed as something you simply have to live with. Our urinary incontinence testing helps identify the type of leakage, how the bladder is functioning, and which treatment path may be most appropriate.
- Uroflowmetry to measure urinary flow rate
- Cystometrogram studies to evaluate bladder pressure during filling and emptying
- Cystoscopy using a small scope to view the inside of the bladder
